- Boost your PR profile – Being shortlisted or winning gives you a newsworthy story to share across your website, social media, press releases and newsletters.
- Put your work in front of more couples – Finalist and winner coverage can introduce your brand to engaged couples looking for trusted suppliers.
- Attract new opportunities – Awards recognition can open doors to new clients, collaborations, media opportunities and industry partnerships. Some of our 2026 finalists have already collaborated on shoots and projects as a direct result of connections made through our Awards.
- Celebrate your team – Give your team the recognition they deserve and celebrate together at a fabulous gala evening in London, surrounded by some of the very best people and businesses in the industry.

Who can enter?
These awards are designed to recognise businesses and individuals working in the wedding industry. You do not need to apply just to one category if several fall within your area of work. You can nominate yourself or you can be nominated by others.
How do I enter?
Firstly, find the category or categories that work for you or the business you’re entering on behalf of. Once decided, simply fill out the application form with the details of the business and answer the prompted questions. Not all of the questions are compulsory however we do recommend filling out every box to increase chances of being shortlisted as a finalist.
How much is it to enter?
There is no entry fee for the awards however you must agree to attend the awards dinner and gala in London on 11th February 2027 if you are shortlisted as a finalist. This requires the purchase of at least one ticket to the dinner and awards gala at The Dorchester Hotel. Fear not! The evening is jam packed with fantastic entertainment, bubbles and dinner along with being surrounded by like-minded individuals. It is great for networking, for business growth and celebrating being a finalist in a national awards event. Of course, if you wish to purchase more than one ticket and celebrate with your team and clients, we welcome this. You can discuss table purchases with a member of our team on attend@ukwha.co.uk. You can also purchase tables even if you are not a finalist. The event is always sold out with some of the best businesses in the wedding industry nationally and internationally.
When do entries close?
Entries close on 30th October 2026. After this, the judges will select their shortlisted finalists who will then be contacted and invited to purchase a ticket to our gala evening at The Dorchester Hotel in London on 11th February 2027.
How are winners selected?
The process has been designed by members of the team at Weddings and Honeymoons Magazine, the creators of the Awards. This has then been assessed for fairness and impartiality by our independent legal counsel, Nicholls & Nicholls, who are retained to oversee the Awards. We have hundreds of applications that are considered in two stages. The first stage uses a unilateral point scoring system for each award category. All applications that pass this stage are then provided to an allocated independent judge from our panel. Our judges have no link to the creators of the Awards and there is no conflict of interest with other companies or organisations. Our judges then follow a marking scheme used to assess the top six in each category including the winner. The final decisions are overseen by our independent legal counsel to ensure the process has not been compromised at any point. If judges are familiar with entrants in their category, then a different category is allocated to them.
Can I submit supporting materials?
We do not accept additional material other than what is in the application form. This is because all applicants have the same opportunity to provide the same information. Please note, there is a ‘any further information’ box at the end of the application that you can take advantage of. No other additional content/materials regarding the entry will be accepted to ensure fairness, consistency and external influences.
What if I have further questions?
If we haven’t answered your query in the FAQ’s, then please do drop us a line at awards@ukwha.co.uk.
For any questions or queries about the Awards process, please contact Chairman of the Judging Panel, Callum Topazio, at awards@ukwha.co.uk Thank you and good luck!
