About us

Why London Wedding Week?

The industry is looking for more and we are delighted to deliver.  

After three successful years running the United Kingdom Weddings & Honeymoons Awards in prestigious settings, we’d hosted hundreds of award finalists, raised thousands for charity and invited many nominees to join the Winners Circle. But, the industry wanted more, and we were more than happy to deliver!
 
Guests wanted a chance to connect and network with the industry, and with some of the brightest stars travelling into London for our gala evening, it made sense to hold our first UKWHA Symposium last year exploring what weddings will look like in five years. After selling out and rave reviews, we are levelling up the offering this year with London Wedding Week, a week-long itinerary of networking opportunities, expert-led insights and B2B interaction, all with the goal of skyrocketing your business and celebrating our wonderful wedding industry.

The UKWHA 2027 Gala Awards

The highly-anticipated evening will bring together the industry’s elite for an evening of fine dining, captivating entertainment and the announcement of our 2027 winners. 

On Thursday February 11th 2027, The Hurlingham Club in South West London will play host to our glittering gala evening, one of the world’s most exclusive and renowned private members’ clubs opening their doors to our esteemed guests. Snap a professional picture from our photographer as you walk the red carpet like the VIP you are, before toasting to the industry with pre-dinner drinks under the domed ceiling of Palm Court. The Broomhouse Suite will welcome you for a delectable three-course meal in stunning settings, all styled to perfection by the internationally-recognised luxury event planner Roberta Torresan in a grand theme perfectly befitting the venue.
 
We are beyond delighted to announce that our gala evening host will be the iconic Davina McCall MBE, the beloved television presenter that promises to add glamour and heart to our occasion. She will lead us through the evening, with entertainment by the fabulous All Things Nice and through our award winner announcements for your chance to celebrate with Davina herself.

Who can enter?

We welcome entries from anyone in the wedding industry, from small businesses to established names, this could be your chance to win! You can apply yourself or nominate a fellow supplier. 

To enter, simply fill out our Application Form with your details and answer the prompted questions to allow the judges to get to know you and why you deserve to win the award. Not all of the questions are compulsory but we do recommend filling out every box to increase your chances of being shortlisted. 

There is no cost to fill out our Application Form and you may apply for as many categories as you want. 

Entries close on 30th October 2026. After this the judges will select their shortlisted finalists who will then be contacted and invited to attend our gala evening at The Hurlingham Club in London on 11th February 2027. Please note that to proceed as a finalist, the finalists (or a representative of the finalist) must purchase a ticket to attend the gala evening itself. 

The process is overseen by our fair and impartial judging panel, who will assess each application to decide winners based on a point ranking system. Winners are not decided by quantity of nominations, but rather the quality of their application based on their merits including professionalism, heart and passion. 

This is not a necessity for our process as we use your Application Form and media links provided to assess each candidate. But if you did wish to submit supporting media, you can send it to awards@ukwha.co.uk
